1. What Data We Collect
Purchase Information
When you buy IsleAtlas Pro:
- Email Address: For sending your license key and receipts
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe (we never see your card details)
- Transaction Records: Purchase date, amount, invoice information
License Validation
When you activate IsleAtlas Pro:
- License Key: To verify your Pro status
- Email Address: Associated with your license
- Activation Date: When you first activated the software
- Last Validated: Most recent license check timestamp
License validation is checked periodically to ensure your license is active and not revoked.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the minimal data we collect to:
- Process Payments: Complete your purchase and send receipts
- Deliver License Keys: Email your license key after purchase
- Validate Licenses: Verify your Pro status and check for revoked licenses
- Provide Updates: Notify you of important software updates (Pro users)
- Customer Support: Respond to your questions and technical issues
- Improve Software: Fix bugs and enhance features based on user feedback
We NEVER use your data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any other purpose not listed above.
3. What We Don't Collect
IsleAtlas NEVER collects:
- Your Source Code: All scanning happens locally on your machine
- File Contents: We don't read or upload your files
- Project Names: Your project information stays private
- Dependency Lists: Your package.json files are not transmitted
- Vulnerability Details: Scan results stay on your device
- Browsing History: We don't track your web activity
- Location Data: We don't collect GPS or location information

4. Third-Party Services
Payment Processing - Stripe
- Purpose: Secure payment processing
- Data Shared: Email address, payment information
- Security: PCI-DSS compliant, industry-leading security

Database & License Validation - Supabase
- Purpose: Store license keys and validate Pro status
- Data Shared: License key, email, activation dates
- Security: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 certified, AES-256 encryption

We carefully vet all third-party services and require them to maintain strict data protection standards. We share only the minimum data necessary for service functionality.
5. Data Retention
- Active Licenses: Data retained while your license is active
- Expired Licenses: Basic license records kept for 1 year after expiration
- Payment Records: Transaction history retained for 7 years (required by law for tax purposes)
- Support Emails: Deleted after 90 days unless needed for ongoing support
Data Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@isleatlas.com. We'll complete deletion within 30 days, except for records we're legally required to keep (tax records).

You have the right to:
