IsleAtlas may not be used for any criminal, illegal, or exploitative purposes whatsoever.
Absolutely Prohibited:
- Criminal Activity: Any use in furtherance of illegal activities, criminal enterprises, or unlawful conduct
- Exploitation: Child exploitation, human trafficking, or any form of abuse or exploitation of vulnerable individuals
- Malicious Hacking: Using vulnerability information to attack, compromise, or damage systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
- Malware Distribution: Creating, distributing, or facilitating malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
- Data Theft: Unauthorized access to, theft of, or distribution of private or confidential information
- Fraud & Scams: Deceptive practices, financial fraud, identity theft, or scam operations
- Weapons & Violence: Facilitating violence, terrorism, or illegal weapons trafficking
- Drug Trafficking: Illegal drug sales, distribution, or related criminal activity
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate license termination, reporting to law enforcement, and potential legal action.
✅ Authorized Uses
IsleAtlas is designed for legitimate security and development purposes:
- Security Auditing: Scanning your own projects for vulnerabilities
- Dependency Management: Tracking and managing npm package versions
- Development Teams: Ensuring code security in your organization
- Compliance: Meeting security requirements and standards
- Authorized Penetration Testing: Only on systems you own or have explicit written permission to test
- Security Research: Responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities to maintainers
- Educational Purposes: Learning about software security in authorized environments
🔒 Responsible Security Practices
If you discover vulnerabilities using IsleAtlas:
- Notify Maintainers: Report vulnerabilities privately to package maintainers first
- Allow Fix Time: Give maintainers reasonable time to address issues before public disclosure
- Follow Responsible Disclosure: Adhere to industry-standard responsible disclosure practices
- Do Not Exploit: Never exploit vulnerabilities for personal gain or malicious purposes
🔐 Data Privacy & Security
- Your Data Stays Local: IsleAtlas scans your local projects - your code never leaves your machine
- No Unauthorized Sharing: Do not use IsleAtlas to scan or analyze code you do not have rights to access
- Respect Privacy: Do not use vulnerability information to access or expose private data
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information discovered during scans
📜 License Restrictions
Your IsleAtlas Pro license does not permit:
- Redistribution: Sharing, reselling, or distributing your license key
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Competitive Use: Using IsleAtlas to build competing products or services
- Automated/Bot Usage: Running automated systems or bots without written permission
- Excessive Usage: Use that degrades service for other users
⚖️ Enforcement & Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Immediate License Revocation: Your license will be terminated without refund
- Legal Action: We will pursue civil and criminal legal remedies where appropriate
- Law Enforcement Reporting: Criminal activity will be reported to authorities
- Cooperation with Investigations: We will fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations

📝 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as needed. Material changes will be announced via email to license holders at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of IsleAtlas constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
